Born from the vision of Bona Art Gallery, Bona Foundation for Art is a not-for-profit organisation, established to deepen our commitment to empowering artists, enriching communities, and preserving Africa’s diverse cultural heritage.

Founded in 2026 as the charitable arm of Bona Art Gallery, the Foundation operates with a mission to support emerging and underrepresented African artists, foster art education, and promote cultural equity through art-based initiatives across local and international platforms.

At its core, Bona Foundation for Art believes that art is a catalyst for social change, healing, and identity. Through our curated programs, community engagement projects, and artist residencies, we create inclusive spaces where creative voices can thrive and where art becomes a tool for dialogue, development, and empowerment.
