Born from the vision of Bona Art Gallery, our not-for-profit Art Foundation was established to deepen our commitment to empowering artists, enriching communities, and preserving Africa’s diverse cultural heritage. Founded in 2025 as the charitable arm of Bona Art Gallery, the Foundation operates with a mission to support emerging and underrepresented African artists, foster art education, and promote cultural equity through art-based initiatives across local and international platforms. At its core, Our Art Foundation believes that art is a catalyst for social change, healing, and identity. Through our curated programs, community engagement projects, and artist residencies, we create inclusive spaces where creative voices can thrive and where art becomes a tool for dialogue, development, and empowerment. Our Objectives To support young and emerging African artists, especially those with limited access to artistic platforms. To deliver accessible art education in schools and communities through workshops, art camps, and outreach. To preserve and promote indigenous artistic expressions, traditions, and stories of Africa. To facilitate cultural exchange between African creatives and global audiences through exhibitions, fellowships, and collaborations.
